There is something to be said for having ex-coaches on your support team. Look at the Dees:

* Alan Richardson
* Choco

Pies are heading the same way with Leppitsch and Bolton

Tapping is interesting as at 2012 he was Collingwood midfield coach then took over VFL side coming off a bad season of 4-14
He then took the VFL Pies to four consecutive finals appearances (2 Prelims in there)

I hope he gets included in our group

I feel sick everytime I look at Choco too, Collingwood captain who left the club for the Bears.

Oh please.
And here was I thinking that I was the only poster on Nick’s who felt that way. I have heard all the arguments from those who supported what he did but to me, it was a horrible act and not becoming of a Collingwood captain. I respect other Nicksters opinions but I lost a lot of respect for Choco. If he returns to Collingwood so be it but I will ignore commenting on him.

Don't confuse your current path with your final destination. Just because it's dark and stormy now doesn't meant that you aren't headed for glorious sunshine!

Rumour floating around JT has not been offered another contract.

This would go against the news in an article a week or so ago that said it was looking like a 1 year deal for JT would eventuate.

JT is an unrestricted Free Agent for what it's worth.

Interesting one to track.

Prefer others to Thomas. Wish him all the best but not at Collingwood.

I will start it off.

I'm told this week we will be announcing our coaching panel including;

Leppitsch (most likely Defence)
Tapping (most likely Midfield)
Bolton (most likely Director of Coaching)
Leppitsch and Bolton announced

Awesome news and going by the statement...

Leppitsch - Head of strategy + Defensive Line duties

Bolton - Director of Coaching + "will also work specifically with the midfield."

So in the statement it wasn't as clear RE midfield line duties, I read it as more of Bolton helping out the midfield.

Hopefully Tapping comes in as senior assistant with stoppages + transition or ball movement.

Interesting to see the next move from our coaching structure.
