People must remember that this is a Port team without
Nick Stevens (left)
Josh Francou (knee)
Byron Pickett
Matthew Primus
Damian Hardwick
Dean Brogan (unlikely)
Surely to goodness we can get close to a victory even without Bucks and Tarrant.

Would love to think we are a chance in this game. However reality is that our intensity is not in the same league as Ports is. In fact, we havent regained the intensity we had in 2002 at all, apart from little spurts last year. To seriously threaten, we need about 8 players to lift, and thats asking too much in one hit.
Add to this, MM will make a massive mistake at selection, as he is into survival mode already. I believe he will drop either Guy or C2, and David King, and allow Lonie, Shaw, Obree and Lokan to maintain their positions when it isnt warranted. Add to this that he will probably risk Tarrant, lets hope he is fully recovered and has an inpact. Would hate to see him injured again, as we are no chance without him in the coming weeks. I am hoping to be proved wrong by MM.
I think he will bring in Mckee because his match up suits Lade, where as i would go on the attack and let our natural jumpers like C2 or Guy get first hand on the ball. No coincedence on Anzac Day we kicked 5 unanswered goals from good centre clearances. My prediction
In: Mckee,Tarrant, Mullins
Out: Shaw, C2 or Guy, Obree
Port to win easily

The ins and outs.
In: Mckee (stunners presence at blocking has been missed for far to long)
Nixon ( its always fantasitc to bring in fresh youngsters esp footy park)
Davis ( always good to have some spark from leon especally in his backyard in footy park)
Crossing my fingers for Taz and Bucks.
Out: R. Shaw (needs to go back to willy to gather some form at all)
O'Bree (lost patience with o'bree to willy this time for at least another 6 rounds and can give regards to handy andy williams)
Richards (just needs a breather but be back on deck come next round v blues)
Can anyone tell me how willy is going and whos performing such as king, shacklton and etc...

Firstly, his surname is JARRAD, and is it because he is left-footed that he has so much time and gets lots of kicks, or could it be that he is a good player?and a bloke called Jarrod always seems to have so much time and get a lot of kicks..he is left footed.

Judging by what I have seen in the last couple of weeks at Williamstown, Mullins, McKee and Tex have all been standout players. With Mullins playing midfield, Tex playing Fullback or CHB and McKee Ruck and Forward Pocket. Any of these guys could come into the side on the weekend. However, in regards to team balance who would you bring in? If you bring in Mullins and McKee are we too slow? King, Mullins, Swan, Cam Cloke, Jason Cloke and Mckee arent exactly speedy. We have had a troubled history with small forwards. What does everyone think?
Having said that I think we will win if we play to our strengths which is a tough, close checking, accountable style of football.

Mckee should be in EVERY game. He's the only body strong ruckman we have at the moment while Richards is developing. Time to give up on Fraser as a ruckman and play him as a permanent forward.
As for Davis could someone tell me A ground that he has played well at? Obree, R Shaw can go back to Willi with there mate Kinnear and stay there all year.
As for Scotland I put a post up when he went to Carlton, I rated him 2nd to Buckley at Pies last year and got abused to the shizenhousen.
I also said he would make all australian with Carlton in his first year. People said he wanted to go, well he only wanted to go because MM in his wisdom kept dropping him or when he played he was on and off the bench. I backed him with IAS bet $50 at 500-1 for the brownlow in March knowing he would get 100 mins a match game time at Carlton, averaging 30 possesions a game until now I am quite happy. Like we could afford to let him go, as good left or right side of his body, awseome disposal a ball magnet, yet we still have RShaw Obree and Kinnear running around for us, its an absolute JOKE.
PS Kinnears in the side I am going fishing.

I dont think itwill matter what lineup we have.
I still believe that the boys will win,as the determination will be there.
If they loose it will be curtains for this year, but if they win, well watch out the rest of the top 8.
