Heard that Leon is likely to play this week so bring him and mullins in drop shaw and o'bree. If tarrant is fit bring him in, not sure who to drop. Buckley has already said he's not playing. Think we are a good chance to win this have a big psychological edge over port even with our ladder positions.

Here is what i posted on LSD make of it what you will....
Presti normally does the job on the gloved one and hopefully this time will be no different. If not we have Shags to play on him. However it is all their small forwards that get under our guard; Burgoynes, Wanganeen, Pickett, Dew, Cockatoo Collins etc. Clement Johnson and Cole will need to be at the top of their games. Good news is that Pickett wont be playing and the Cocky has retired. So without Pickett , Hardwick (Not that i rate him much) and Primus Port lose a lot of their physical presence. Maybe for the first time in a long time we can be the physical team. I want to see Cam Cloke throwing his weight around along with Pebbles.
Normally up forward they triple team Tarrant. Hopefully this time around Pebbles can stand up and help out Tazza if in fact Tazza does play. Pebbles should be pretty fired up for this game given the events of the last prelim. Leon is a certainty if fit under the horses for courses policy of MM and hopefully can kick some much needed goals. The key match up will be Chad Cornes who has played very well in defence this year and provides a lot of their attack as he reads the play so well. Whoever plays on him better apply some pressure and not let him run off at will. I think it will be Rocca but hopefully a plan is in place if and when Chad runs off him. I want to see a greater emphasis to maintain possession in the forward line as last week it seemed to be run out way too easily. Stop Chad Cornes and we are wll on the way to a victory.
I am quite surprised that Port has done so well in the midfield this year given the loss of Stevens who normally racks up possessions at will against us at Footy Park and Francou. Carr has been getting a lot of the ball so he would be the player to tag. Maybe Licuria can do the job ? Schofield is a bit of a Murphy and will get uncontested possessions. More of the same from McGough and Burns and we will keep winning some centre clearances. It was no coincidence that when we were winning the ball out of the centre we were kicking goals. Pretty damn simple so l hope it continues.
Football Park was the venue that helped turn our season last year so lets hope it continues. Players such as Lonie, Licuria and Didak seem to enjoy Footy Park so hopefully we will get a good return from these players.

Taz wont be playing and without Bux, I think we will struggle to win this game, despite recent good history against Port. Tredrea can be very damaging and hard to stop and their small crumbers can hurt us as well. Even with Leon back in the side, its a tough ask. A HUGE effort required by all around the ground to get up for this one.
