My Match Toughts:
Player review:
Mullins: Classy in the wet. Kicked a great goal in the 2nd quarter.
B.Shaw: Played 'OK'. Good ball user and knows how to find it. Adds a touch of class. Kicked a steadying goal in the 1st.
Shackleton: Played out of the back pocket and didn't win much of the ball.
McKee: Really wants his senior position back. Huge workrate and looked very skilled and classy. Heart of a lion.
Kinnear: Looked skillful but also mucked up a few times.
Walker: Beaten early but fought back.
Morrison: Didn't see much of him.
Williams: Is he one of those players too good for the VFL but not good enough for the AFL? Looked impressive at times and you could tell he's played a fair bit of AFL with his skills.
Nixon: OK at differant stages.
Maxwell: Still developing.

How the f*** did Cranage get B.O.G? He played a good game (quite early)but not best on.I was a little dissapointed with the set-up they had for most of the day in the forward line.If they are trying to develop Morrison then wouldn't be better to get Kinear out of the forward line? Baldwin,Kinear & Morrison just didnt look good.Billy looked lost. I know he is young but intensity should always be there.Hope Mullins gets a recall he looked good

scooby, I think cranage gettin the cup was phil clearys doing he was talkin about how great it is to see so many vfl players in the willi line up and how importent to the club their listed players are. Pete Donegen said after the match that he thought goog mullins was unluckly.
Goog made a very loud statement to the coaches today and i don't think it will go unheard, it is fairly likely he will be back in black n white next week with the profomences of R shaw and obree today. Lukes 32 possetions yesterday was outstanding, great skills, good descion making and pure poise under pressure would have to of caught MM's eyes.

Phil Cleary was on his anti AFL soapbox all day Saturday. I wish he would get over it and stop living in the past. There were a few Willy players who were in line for BOG (as acknowledged by Peter Donegan in the telecast) but Sam probably got the nod because of his work throughout the game.

Must agree with Magoo Brayden Shaw does look classy, just looks like he knows what he's doing. BIG chance for the 1's this week, heard it here first!!
Anyone (hoping for you Dale) see the 2's game, nothing in the papers, any chance of listing any blokes who played in teh 2's game would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for the goal kickers Dale. Did Puhar play last week or was it his first game??
Mullins very stiff not to get the BOG.
Here's some stats from my TV view point:
Mulins 14k 4m 15h 1gl (doesn't chase or tackle)
Cranage 14k 3m 8h
BShaw 10k 5m 5h 1gl (hf early, lots when midfield)
McKee 16k 9m 3h 1gl
Jarrad 11k 5m 10h 2gls (classy)
Kinnear 10k 10m 5h 1gl
Baldwin 10k 7m 3h 4.2
Sheehen 15k 4m 7h
Nixon 11k 7m 5h (look ordinary,position-less)
Shackleton 14k 5m 3h (back pocket)
Morrison 3k 3m 1h (2k 2m 1st qtr, gave away a terrible 50m)
AWilliams 8k 6m 8h (only played well last qtr)
Knight & Theodore played well, went in hard. Walker & Maxwell did well deep down back.
Thanks ABC more TV games for Willi!!!
