O'Bree has to stay in, there are no other options.

I agree Williams will be dropped, I think Cam Cloke might get a game this week.

McGough could play, but his defensive side is a worry. Always performs on Anzac day though.

Lonie should play CHF and Rocca in the square.
If they don't drop O'Bree, I will be very angry. He's mhad more chances than any-one else.

I seriously dont think we have naything to worry about!. They are saying its going to hail all weekend! and we all know that the Bummers cant play in the wet and we are the bad weather specialists!.. We wont miss Tazza, as on wet days, its hard for big forwards to mark the ball! Therefore, Lloyd wont see much of it. We have enough crumbers and fletcher wont be able to handle them all... They have too many tall players and rely too much on Lloyd. IMO we have this in the bag already!

Cam wrote:If Presti plays on Lloyd, Lloyd will kick 12. Could be Clement on Lloyd and Cloke on Lucas. Presti may even ride the pine or play at Willi.
Then who plays on Hird? Lonie?

Hopefully Monty Burns will play
I'm pretty sure he will. Burnsy wouldn't miss this for the world.
BTW, Wakelin should take Lloyd. Presti is in shocking form.
Like Goughy, Wakelin has never let us down.

Hopefully C.Cloke is picked for his ist game this week as we are lacking another tall forward just at the moment. Rocca is out of form although i think he will lift and Fraser is only able to have spells on the forward line. Wakes will play on Llyod and Clement on Hird. If it rains which it is forecats to do so then Llyod shouldn't have a huge influence which could be a bonus!

Rain won't affect Dons: Sheedy
By Peter Ker, Emma Quayle
April 24, 2004

Essendon coach Kevin Sheedy was adamant yesterday that his Bombers would not be affected by the wet conditions expected for tomorrow's Anzac Day clash with Collingwood, despite his side's growing reputation for struggling in the rain.

And Sheedy continued his mind games with opposing coach Mick Malthouse yesterday, keeping the door open for a late change to his line-up by withdrawing his three emergencies - Kepler Bradley, Brent Stanton and Ted Richards - from the Bendigo Bombers' clash with Springvale in Bendigo last night.

Cameron Cloke has been named to make his debut for Collingwood on Sunday.

The second son of former Magpie and Tiger legend David Cloke comes into the Collingwood line-up with Mark McGough, who won the Anzac Day medal in this corresponding fixture in his debut season two years ago.

Cloke, 19, has been named on the interchange bench alongside his brother Jason and his brief will be to provide a contest up forward.

Andrew Williams and Luke Mullins have been omitted from the line-up which lost to Fremantle at Telstra Dome last Sunday.

The key is to flood both weather wise and tactic wise. The midfield and especally at centre bounces.
A simple game plan: 1. flood midfield
2. 1st access to the ball
3. then others break off in the direction of the ball or ball carrier
4. this will ensure a smooth transition to the forward line offering more options. and
5. once the ball is in the forward line lock the ball in and ensure no leaks and to assurt pressure in the forward line and finally
6. once the ball is in defence kick up the corridor then wide then in the hot spot forward line
Number one rule always get numbers to the ball first and always run in numbers just like a tidal wave but keep pressure on.
How was Wimbledon!

ANZAC DAY:

When was it born :-

http://www.rsl.org.au/commemoration/anzac.html

The Ode :-

They shall not grow old, as we that are left grow old;
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning
We will remember them.

We will remember them.

Lest we forget.
