Agreed, the hacks rarely get injured...fate it seems, is not without its sense of irony

Crap way to lose but not overly disappointed. Much better than I thought we would be after three rounds and false wins only papers over the cracks that this club needs change.

The list has promise.

Buckley and the other two need to go asap.

List management , why haven't they been sacked yet?

Looking forward to more kids coming in. Magden is a real worry.

Mentally weak

Tactically abysmal

Too many plodders on the list

Why isn't the team coached to drive the ball deep into our forward line when a player (Mihocek) marks on the wing with 2.22 left on the clock.

Noble trailed Bailey by 20 metres when the Lion took the mark in the last seconds- sagging off for an easy kick- not good enough.

We have so many young lads with speed and skill on the list whose progress is stifled by Thomas, Noble, Madgen, ...

Please bring Murphy, McCreery and Kelly in this week.

I would invite Sir Scott Burns to be interim coach for the remainder of 2021.

If we lose to GWS and WCE in the next two weeks (both likely), Bucks needs to fall on his sword...

I'd love to comment on this doris, but would probably get a yellow card!!!!
Seen too many heartbreaks and can't handle the losses anymore. Hiding the pain by pretending not to care, or not be affected by it. She really loves the club believe it or not. A lot more than you probably think.

Like if WHE got injured, be a hell of alot less impact than Jamie, but it always happens too our wrong players, not the hacks it seems. Must be some major changes for next week.
The way WHE is playing it would be an advantage

And the brown bothers gees such poor skills

Madgen had his moments but wasn’t as bad as the Browns. McCreery should get a start next week.

Mate the Lions had only one change of underwear after being stranded down here. Our players slept in their own beds. Perhaps that's the problem.
That is just not true. The Brisbane Lions are an extremely professional outfit, far superior to us in terms of player rehabilitation, player management, and coaching synchrony.
I am devastated that we lost by such a slim margin. It indicates that we were an extreme match for them, and they are one of the top AFL teams. I am not going back to the "honourable loss" scenario. I am just reflecting that we are playing a team minus Adz, Stepho compared with last year, and still matched it with one of the best. I am actually quite optimistic from this result. We have plenty of raw material to work with.

Agree, time to play some promising kids now, and give WHE, Magden, etc a rest. Kids can freshen up a side, look at the Swans, brought in kids, and going really well. We need changes next week, play the kids u mentioned, totally agree.

Unbelievable.
Can't even blame injuries
Billy is the only one.

Played in Melbourne
Brisbane had no ruckman.
Still found a way to lose.

Brisbane can only get better, that was the best we can do.
