Andrew Williams is not his real name!!

His 1st name is Williams
His second name is Town
Life is very short and there's not time for fussing and fighting my friends!

If you want to look at our poor form its reflected in one stat - tackles. The tackle count will tell us if we are putting in or not. So far it indicates we are NOT putting in an effort.
My oxygen is Collingwood. Without it I die.

I'd be really interested to see what the time on ground for those touches was. Cloke wasn't on there very long at all. And every time he went near the ball, MM pulled him back to the bench.

Go_The_Mighty_Magpies, when MM was rumoured to say Cloke played better in the 2002 GF then he did in last years GF........... what he MEANT
was his performance was so bad in 2003, that his performance of not even playing at all was even better - well thats how i interpreted it, i think others interpreted it that way too.

Was watching another game today, where the commentators said "looks like tarzan, plays like Jane". Kinda describes a few of our players performances recently. All most are asking for is for them to have a go, instead of looking as if a loss doesnt even bother them. Please, some accountability.

And we are not blaming every loss on Jason Cloke, BUT its so obvious that he is not a forward. Some of us even believe that he's not even a backman. EIther drop him or play him somewhere else, he does nothing for us near the goals.

Good point! In particular with Cloke, perhaps he is not being given enough time to gain any form! Does not seem to have a clue what his role is or what he is suppose to do in the team!

And what on earth is Rocca's problem? When we really needed him today when we got back to 22 points and he drops uncontested marks!! Although he's a great player, maybe we need to let him reunite with Sav at the end of the year and rebuild a side around a centre half forward who's there when you really need him ...
Amen to that.

In fact, it would even be worth having Anthony Rocca kick the winning goal against us one day just to get rid of him.

He should have been given his marching orders for his Preliminary Final stupidity. Now he just gets more and more stupid with every game he plays.

The tackling was pretty weak today, some of the freo players got away just too easily.

Yes, and it's called sarcasm and a very poor bout of it from MM after last year's GF.

I'm beginning to think the reactions of various people ... MM ... Cloke senior ... and others ... to our 2003 Grand Final loss have sewn the seeds of this Club's decline. The parallel to 1982 is scary.

I really hope Malthouse isn't heading for T-shirt Tommy's fate ... it would be a HUGE mistake ... but I fear we might have a caretaker coach before this season is out.

DON'T DO IT, COLLINGWOOD ... it was a mistake in 1982 ... and it would be a mistake now.

MM stuffed up with his post-match sarcasm last September ... but he MUST be forgiven ... He's the best thing that's happened to Collingwood since Buckley was recruited ... and he must be given every opportunity to achieve what Hafey would have achieved if he hadn't been so stupidly scapegoated.

Mullins and King both looked ok today and should be retained for next week. We need another tall forward in the team with the absence of Tarrant and with Rocca struggling. Who is playing well enough at Williamstown to get promoted?

Someone posted previously the umps crucified us today...on ABC I heard we 'won' frees 16-8. I cant believe it either...
Insipid performance today, with no relief in sight. At least Mullins and King looked ok. Still believe as long as we make the eight anythings possible but on todays performance I won't be holding my breath.

IF the magpies can beat essendon on sunday. which at this stage is VERY unlikely it should get our confidence up on the players. If we do not win against essendon then we will be on bottom of ladder .

It will be hard to come back from that postion as well if we are 16th

Does any one happen to live near vic park by any chance? lol Coz if some 1 does write on footpath on the concreate in paint the following J. cloke is not a forward player. coz mm keeps playing him up there and its getting beyond a joke now. lol

Basically we are pretenders at this stage. Lack of depth is rearing it's head. We are seeing the results of not being able or willing to trade to get a quality player or two. The other teams at this stage look better than we do, whether we can turn it around is yet to be seen. One tough month coming up and our backs are to the wall.

Few players looking at their pay packets instead of their team mates today.

Big call to drop payers when we actually have nobody of quality to replace them. O'Bree is a joke and how he gets a game has me stunned. As I said cannot drop him as there is no one to come in for him.
