I understand the frustration. But yeah, I dont like reading about people hoping to lose a game. My grandfather would absolutely backhand me if I said that. He's been gone since '97, so I guess my Dad would have to do it now.Born to Pie wrote:Some supporters on here need to look up the meaning of supporter

Good win Magpies, great win really, under all sorts of pressure pre game, we had a bit of a lull late in the game, but we re loaded and went again. I utterly loathe these bastards, hate em, i get so nervous playing them, so im bloody rapt to win this one, what a relief, time for a whiskey. ! Go Pies, !!!!

I'm not sure they awarded a medal? What happened? The scum ran away sooking licking wounds before the ceremony?shawthing wrote:Scott Emberberry wins the medal - again.
Can we manage to lose the cup this year. The Carlton team couldn't even be bothered to stay out there. Disgrace!
First time in my life we are ahead of Carlton all-time head to head
13 clearences medal should go to Adams, and that was with time left. Plus the goal tops off a great performance
But Crisp with 36 touches is once again the most underrated player at Collingwood. Criminally underrated, nearly 800 meters gained!

Good night all.
Just remember beating Carlton is all you can hope for every year. And we got them. This is a great night. And we're finally up in the head to head ledger. It's taken years and we had far too many set backs over the years.
Go to work tomorrow feeling good about your team. Go into the weekend feeling good about your team.
We beat the old enemy. This is fkn great!

I'll take any win against these bastards. Win easy, win hard, win by 1, win by 100 it is all the same, just bloody well win..and that we did.
Have to admit at 3 qtr time I thought we looked out of gas and they were all over us like flies on a rib roast. But, to the boys credit they kept on plugging away and the Blues just didn't step up. Maybe they spent their juice in the 3rd trying to get back into it. Who knows, the results are in and it's a big W to the Carringbush. We also won a huge &^%$ing cup at the end too!!!
Also of coarse, haven't we all been waiting for so, so , so very long. Since 1981 the Mighty Pies have now won more games over Carlton and that feels DAMN GOOOOOOOD!!!!
Well done to Darcy Moore, without this man we would be in all sorts down back and to DeGoat who had a quiet second half but really applied the heat in the first half with 4 majors, so important. Hope Elliots ankle is not too bad and he gets back quickly. Dissappointed with WHE, Thomas and Sier yet again, they just don't seem to present themselves anywhere near enough. Why? Who knows. Great to kick the tonne as well, how long has it been?
Overall a much better effort, still far too many turnovers off half back for my liking, but a much improved performance.
