(Official) Best: Uhi, Hollow, Dukes, H. Shaw, McArdle, Pearce.
** David Fanning was stretchered off early in the third quarter. No news on the injury, but it appears to be lower leg (knee, ankle?)

Final scores - Seniors:

Will: 0.0.0 ~ 7.2.44 ~ 9.4.58 ~ 14.8.92
Cob: 4.7.31 ~ 6.7.43 ~ 13.12.90 ~ 15.12.102

(My) Best: Jarrad, Lloyd, Cranage, McGough, Cloke.
(Official) Best: Jarrad, Cloke, Lloyd, McGough.
** McKee was a late withdrawal, apparently due to illness.
** Clokey took an absolute screamer just on quarter time.
** Troy West went off in the second quarter after copping a knee injury.
** Coburg kicked an early second quarter goal to go out to a 37-point lead, then Williamstown kicked the next seven to go seven points in front. Coburg kicked a late goal to narrow the half time margin.
** Billy Morrison made his senior debut. His first goal, with the breeze at his back, was kicked from well outside the 50.

Great Pics....you are a legend for the commitment you show to Willo..onya Dale

Guess the pics of MCG answered my previous question and that he won't be lining up tomorrow at the Dome.

Great stuff again Dale. Could we prevail on your good graces for a player summary similar to last week.

Thanks for the pics. Dale. Good to see you weren't blow away on Saturday. Must have been blowing a gale down at Willy. Any views on the guys that have been suggested could step up into the Pies senior team (Cam Cloke, McGough) in the next couple of weeks?

My player summary:

Steve McKee - Didn't play. Was a late withdrawal due to illness.

Bo Nixon - Did some good things, but not enough to warrant a recall. Disposal appeared to be better, and didn't hold the ball as long as he used to do. His stint at AFL level seems to have done him wonders.

Mark McGough - Got plenty of the ball, again, but missed a lot of targets. Still looking for other options. Still inconsistent with his foot disposal.

Ben Kinnear - Weather didn't suit his style of play, but still made the contests, bringing the ball to ground. Not this week.

Luke Shackleton - Played on half-back, and was good for most of the game. A late game fumble gave his opponent an easy goal, snuffing out any chance of a Williamstown victory.

Cameron Cloke - Amongst the best. Took an absolute hanger right on quarter time. Discipline needs to be looked at as gave away several unnecessary frees, including a 50 whilst in defence.

Brayden Shaw - Could be the first of the new draftees to be elevated to AFL level. Showed lots of poise, with good disposal under pressure.

Tristen Walker - Another who struggled in the conditions.

Nick Maxwell - Should be ready for a call-up, but is still rookie-listed. Puts body on the line.

Justin Crow - Being used as a stop-gap around the ground. Plays both ends as well as in the ruck, and gets kicks wherever he plays. Still rookie-listed.

Billy Morrison - Several strong marks in the first half, with two goals on debut. Needs to learn to use his body to best advantage, not to try to take out the opposition at every opportunity. First goal was a scorcher, from outside 50 (wind assisted).

Reserves:
Heath Shaw - Was amongst the best, but mind you, Coburg didn't have much to offer.

Brent Hall - A late withdrawal for second week running.

David Fanning - Was well on top until stretchered off early in the third quarter.
