It seems as if he isnt given as many chances as some other players, where its quite obvious he has the talent. I mean if its kicking skills, half of our team at the moment kick just as badly as him.
Necause the coaching staff think him too slow.

McGough did have an injury pre-season so maybe they are giving him match practise at Williamstown, by giving him a few full games before he is ready to play seniors again.

If Kinnear comes into the side to replace Wakelin as a last minute change I am walking out and going to Goldfingers!

The midfield will really need to step up for us to win, specifically Licuria Woey and especially O'Bree to give Burns some much needed support. Our clearances have been reasonably decent but accountability and run through the middle has been extremely poor Ive thought.

MM will need to work the forward line around til he can find a winnig formula, Id put Pebbs at FF with Josh at CHF all game. Will probably need another tall forward in there, don't know who else we can really throw in though that wil have some affect. Leave Clokey out of there! Give him the responsibility of CHB and let him go.

Im not expecting tommorow to be pretty but considering our form and injuries it still could be a very memorable win against the odds if we can get up.

Medhurst and Haselby are our main dangers, Clement and Holland to get the job on each although Id prefer Licca to go back to his tagging role. I dont think Pav will be as dangerous on the smaller Dome ground, which is good as we dont have a matchup for him I think.

Time to show some of that heart we know you are capable of Pies.

I reckon lonie or lokan will get the job on pav. Depending on where he plays of course.

Malthouse relishing challenge for undermanned Pies

A fantastic challenge is how Collingwood coach Mick Malthouse describes today's match at Telstra Dome between his understrengthMagpies and Fremantle.

"This is a fantastic challenge; this is coaching at its best," he said. "This is when you have a young group of players who have performed reasonably well; they come into the side and you look forward to seeing them perform in a pressure-cooker situation."

True. Willaims & Shaw need to make the most of this match or else...
