Cameron kicked 31 goals this year and came seventh in the Coleman. Does that sound like someone who is worth 900K a year?

^No. Had a poor year. A COVID year. Not the only one, so I'd offer a mulligan there. Their team had a shocker too. Hard to be a good forward in a team that struggles to move the ball. Sounds a little familiar.

But also won the Coleman the year before in a GF team. He is a high quality KPF. Can do it in the air and do it on the ground. Can play high or play deep.

I'd suggest he is the best KPF in the league. And he is potentially available.

And as luck would have it, we need a quality KPF. Checkers and Cox become second and third strings.

I think he is a long shot for us.

He had chances to kick more goals. He just wasn't good enough to take them. He also has to take his share of the blame for his team's poor year.

Considering GWS want two first round picks and a player I'd say we are zero chance of landing him.

What can we offer besides Treloar - who has already indicated his desire to remain in Victoria with the Pies or another club.

IMO, next year is our last year of a Premiership Window. Then will need to have mini rebuild for a couple or few years.

We loose (or will be way off their best) Pendles, Siddey, Howe, Roughy, Mayne, Greenwood in the next year or two. Already lost Treloar, Langdon, Beams, Varcoe, Reid.

So we either go for it this year by trading, or look to the mini rebuild in 2021.

Burnsy, I think its highly likely that Treloar won't be with us next year. Of course, not done yet... Smarty bum.

In any case, he alone is not going to stop the slide in 1-2 years.

What about two 1st rounders and they take Beams off our hands.

Where did Langdon go? We missed him down back this year, especially after Howe did his knee.

I think our premiership window is gone. This year was our last chance.

Emmm maybe. I guess we'll see but imo depending on how well we trade and recruit this year - next year may be our last real stab before we have to take a more conventional approach to our lists future health, and longevity.

Either way the horse has bolted.
