Jezza, do you have an idea from past seasons what we should expect from here?

With the title decided, will Liverpool "play the kids" and have worse results? Or will they play with freedom and maintain their form?

What about Man. City, who are still clear favourites for next season's PL title? Will CL be a distraction?

How will CL qualification and PL relegation chances affect motivation and results of other clubs?

^ You may have partially answered your own question. Liverpool just lost 4-0 to Manchester City though they played a strong first 11.

It remains to be seen whether Manchester City can participate in the CL next season, due to the current ban relating to FFP breaches. They have an ageing squad and questions will linger whether the likes of Kevin De Bruyne will want to stay on at the club. If Guardiola remains at the club next season, that will take him into a fifth season which is the longest he's managed at one club. I think he will stay next season, but then jump to either PSG, Juventus or back to Barcelona.

Motivation for CL qualification and to avoid PL relegation will be through the roof most clubs.

In relation to CL qualification, I think it comes to down four teams (Leicester, Chelsea, Manchester United and Wolves).

In relation to PL relegation, generally you need 40 points on average to avoid relegation which is what the top 14 sides have now achieved. Currently we have Norwich clearly on the bottom with 21 points and teams positioned between 15th to 19th are only separated by 6 points.

...
And Man. City followed up by losing to Southampton! :o

(This result earned me a coffee. If I'd been less timid, it could have earned me more than that.)

Liverpool are reported to have "laboured" to a win at home against Aston Villa. Maybe the end of the season can't come fast enough for them.

Man. Utd. are supposedly the form team at the moment.

"Tottenham duo Hugo Lloris and Son Heung-min had to be separated by teammates during a confrontation at halftime of a 1-0 victory over Everton...

As the shouting goalkeeper Lloris pushed Son, Giovani Lo Celso and Harry Winks intervened to split the clashing teammates on the field before they headed into the dressing room.

Just before the break, Son lost the ball which led to Richarlison having a chance to equalise but striking wide."

United are 9 matches unbeaten and appear to be the most likely team at this stage to finish 3rd.

Lots of goals in Crystal Palace vs. Chelsea!

Do they have weak defences?

Chelsea have conceded 46 goals (av. 1.35 per game) this season. It's been a recurring problem under Frank but at least our attacking prowess has covered it this season.

On the other hand, the teams around Chelsea have stronger defences. Liverpool have conceded 25, Manchester City 34, Leicester City 32, Manchester United 33, Wolves 36 and Sheffield United 33.

One thing that's initially surprising is the low percentage of draws in EPL, and the even smaller percentage of 0-0 draws. (I haven't found the number for this season but it must be very low.)

I wonder why that is. Mismatches would help, but maybe they're also very good at converting chances. There should be data on that too (expected goals vs. actual goals, etc.).
