Having a WTF about a WTF is a double WTF and has the potential to spin the universe off it's currently sane and normal axis resulting in plague, pestilence, toilet paper hoarders and China apologists.think positive wrote:WTF, now I’m getting told what I can WTF about!
Ehhhhhhhhhh, on second thoughts, go for it, WTF away, there's nothing left to break.

TROY, N.Y. - A church in Troy, New York is facing criticism for holding a raffle giveaway offering church-goers the chance to win an AR-15 assault rifle.
On the church’s website, a flyer is visible, which displays rules for the raffle requiring participants to register their information, including their name, age and address for a chance to win the gun.

To keep the Muslims out, Jews can be allowed in without touching it.Morrigu wrote:^
What’s the go with the “touch the ham” thing on the way in?
I haven't been in a Church other than for a wedding or funeral since............ever, but for a chance to win an AR15, I'm there. Does it come with ammo?

These jokes are about the Koran too.think positive wrote:Can we make these jokes about the Koran too?
The Islamic faith is built on the bedrock of the exact same stories as Christianity, Judaism, Rastafarianism, Mormonism, the Druze faith and the Bahá'í faith. These tales feature Abraham, Moses, Adam and Eve, David, Noah, and the usual cast of thousands. Christians call these stories the "Old Testament"; other faiths have other names, but it's all the same stuff, differing only in detail.
Most (probably all) of these religions have a second, more recent body of holy text (or even third), such as the New Testament, the Koran, the Holy Piby, the Book of Mormon, the Epistles of Wisdom, and the various writings of Baháʼu'lláh. (I have omitted Judaism from my list of supplementary texts because the complexities of that religion's holy writings are a bit beyond me.)
