Went and picked up the old girls brand new mobility scooter, took the rental back. Once we got home and I started to get it out of the ute, she asked if she could take it for a spin down the street, she wanted to get some stamps to mail some letters, so I walked with her to make sure she didn't get into a bad situation, which was a good idea. Helped her adjust the mirrors, explained why going up driveways on an angle is a bad idea and to do it straight, got her down and back. Then for the piece of resistance, she drove straight up the new decking ramp I'd made and, after a small angle adjustment, straight into the house.
It's a bit squeezy in the front hall so for the time being the plan is when she comes home, she leaves it in the hallway and I make sure it's parked and loaded ready for her to take out anytime whether I'm here or not.
Just got to pick up some poly pipe and black spray paint and make a walking stick holder for the back.

You have a safety Orange flag on it yeah?
Took a day off, went to ikea, then to chadsone with junior. Man I can never find the car in that place! Great centre though, got everything I was after, jeans and boots, and a bit more!a fair bit more! Some of the shopping centres around this way are pretty empty of stock, but chaddy had plenty. Bought some chicken Kiev’s for a quick dinner, now chillin!
Tomorrow I have to try and get Telstra to fix a stuff up with one of my emails, ugh, and visit dad, double ugh, so yeah I made sure I damn well enjoyed today!
Time for a jim Beam! Cheers

No chance. This is a portable job. Pull the seat off, lower the steering column she goes in the back of the ute so you can take it out and use it to trip around. Bit more fiddling you can fit it in a decent size car boot.think positive wrote:You have a safety Orange flag on it yeah?

The innumerate Peter Dutton threatened with contempt of court over visa delay:
"...A Federal Court judge has said there is no self-evident reason why a government minister could not be fined or jailed if found guilty of contempt of court, in a strongly worded rebuke to Home Affairs Minister Peter Dutton..."
