Well done Qld

I'd be interested in a comparison between previous Gavin Brown top 5s and the Copeland. Or even just the winners, to see how Nick's stacks up.
Get back on top.

Welcome folks don’t know if it’s the bean counter in me or the love of a late night scotch but it’s actually a little fun
I don’t think anyone was surprised with the winner
Crisp polled better than I thought but on reflection he’s a very consistent player every week
I see the GB medal count was similar to the Copeland again same people just different order

Looks like we grossly underrated Maynard relative to how the club feels about him (although it is a different voting system - Gavin Brown rewards excellence in individual games, Copeland rewards consistent performances across an entire season).

Maynard has quietly become one of our most valuable players. I cant tell you ho long it took before i realized he was going to be a good player (even after Buckley assured me he was going to play 250 games for us).

He has become one of my very favorite players, alongside JDG, Langdon, Stevo and Crisp.

Congratulations Grundy well deserved. Had a year where he became a midfielder who can ruck rather than the other way round. I trust the club however really dont know why we wouldnt be locking him in for life.
