Not sure what the VFL rate of pay is but it's prob more of a job than a career.Pies2016 wrote:If hes coming in as third banana behind Callum Sinclair and Naismith, then I’m not sure if he can play ... full stop.Mr Miyagi wrote:What does this mean for Cox? We're losing Reid, so we need to recruit a tall KPP, can Cameron play back/forward?
I doubt if the swans would play hard ball with any trade involving Cameron.
Usually the parent club simply accepts a very late pick from the destination club just to see that the player gets there without outside interference from any other clubs.
For us, it’s nothing more than insurance, while Cameron can carve himself out a good career in the VFL and live in a decent city.

I don't see how his signing is a challenge to any of our best 22. He's clearly being brought in as a backup. He'd be a long way behind Cox or Grundy.
This year as backup to Cox we had Reid. It's likely that Reid won't be going on and even if he does is often unavailable. We needed another option and it looks like Cameron will fill that position.
Looks to be a very minor move. Though apparently other clubs were interested, so there are some positive signs for his potential.

We have shown in Past we can get lot more out of Minor Moves in the Past./AN_Inkling wrote:I don't see how his signing is a challenge to any of our best 22. He's clearly being brought in as a backup. He'd be a long way behind Cox or Grundy.

Most of my favourite bands start with "M" - Mars Volta, Mastodon, Megadeth, Metallica, Midnight Oil, Misfits...except King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard ~
