I’m not defending anything. I simply do not think the umpires have had anything to do with this pathetic result. Our team just has not turned up to play.

Disgusting quarter of umpiring, the fix was on. Unfortunately we didn’t make the most of the first half when we were getting the calls.

GWS have dominated, repeat, dominated this game. They just didn’t do it on the scoreboard in the first half.
The match day thread is for unfiltered BS knee jerk reactions. The time for level headed comment comes after.

The umpiring has been poor as they've paid too many soft free's, both ways, but they've had a negligible impact on the game other than being annoying. I prefer games when the umpires are unobtrusive.

Saying we didn't turn up to play undersells GWS. They're a very good team
Every dead body on Mt Everest was once a highly motivated person, so maybe just calm the **** down.

The umpiring has been crap, that quarter laughable, but the truth is we ain’t good enough. Need De Goey bad. Reid trying but not good enough

Moore outstanding,

Hopefully heater his team and their extra 4 friends kill the tigers next week, the umpires helping them would make it even better! Cheers

Winning a game from 2 goals down is doable. 3 goals is harder in a wet game. I can not overstate how big a momentum swing that was. It swung the game out of our reach.

Don't blame the umps today. Geez we had about 4 players who turned up. This was a walkover to GWS.
