Bloody women's football: so low scoring, cannot maintain any interest, it's not the real thing.CoastPie wrote:FT: Pies 7.14:56 v Fran 7.11:53
Goals: Glover 4, Broomhead, Oxley, Brown
..wait on...

Went up to Frankston today. Horrible game of footy and to be honest the better side lost, in what was beautiful conditions for Skybus Stadium.
Really not much to get excited about.
A few observations:
Really surprised and impressed with Mark Keane, the Irishman at fullback. Not big stats but spoiled well and took some good one on one marks. His disposal was better than Madgen.
Scharenberg was strong aerially and patrolled D50 as per usual.
Atu was quiet for most of the match, but was important in the last quarter to help us peg back the Dolphins then hold onto the lead with some pressure acts and second efforts.
Max Lynch seemed to play forward a bit more than I would’ve expected.
I was surprised to see that it’s the VFL listed guys with Wills and/or Tyler Brown as centre pieces that really drive the midfield. Broomhead and Diacos just weren’t integral cogs, they played around the fringes and had little to no influence on today’s result.

If we're honest, we'd say a typical women's footy scoreline is 3.8.26 v 1.5.11.watt price tully wrote:Bloody women's football: so low scoring, cannot maintain any interest, it's not the real thing.CoastPie wrote:FT: Pies 7.14:56 v Fran 7.11:53

Scores aren't everything, though. There are many bigger problems.
