Not a series but a movie - just noticed it in the TV guide. Its on on tonight on SBS (but probably viewable afterwards on the SBS On Demand web site).
Only caught the last half when it was previously broadcast and it really grabbed my interest Really well filmed with a good cast (some cameos) and some big budget sets. Its very dour in parts, sort of a cross between Mad Max and Hitchhikers Guide (and other things I can't think of right now).
A good watch if you've had enough footy viewing after the Pies loss.
Title: Children of Men
8:30PM - 10:30PM
This stunning sci-fi epic envisages a future world that has fallen into anarchy, on the heels of an infertility defect in the population that has made humankind face the likelihood of its own extinction. Set against a backdrop of London torn apart by violence, this film follows an unlikely champion of Earth's survival: Theo, a disillusioned ex-activist turned bureaucrat, who is forced to face his own demons and protect the planet's last remaining hope for a future generation.

Tried a couple of times to watch true detective 3 bu5 couldn’t get into it, was flicking channels and started watching some show for 10 min, not bad, had a look it was the 5th episode, i had no idea what I was watching. Taped i5 and jus5 finished the last episode, brilliant, though the question remains, did he remember to tell his partner about the girl??!!
You cant fix stupid, turns out you cant quarantine it either!

If I'm honest Game of Thrones has never been nearly as good once the show runners no longer had the book material to work from but boy I was so so disappointed by last week.
It felt like a mix of Harry Potter meets Lord of the Rings and was full of the tropes Martin himself stated he wanted to subvert when he wrote GOT.
