Major ball winners:
Woodward - 32
Daicos - 24
Scharenberg - 20
Goal Kickers:
Reid - 2
Gallucci, Cameron - 1 each
(who kicked the other two?)
Score:
Casey 15.12.102
Pies 6.3.39
Players:
Reid tried hard. When up forward, he was a scoring threat. He spent some time in defence and in the ruck too. He and Goldsack will only play AFL if we suffer another injury. That's a good thing. Very hand depth players. But I thought Goldsack was quiet today.
Daicos is travelling nicely. He is the most likely to break into the AFL unless Reid/Goldsack need to cover an injury. 24 touches, I would like to see his tackling stats. I believe he has the skill set to make it in the AFL and I'm getting more confident with each VFL game that passes. It's nice to see him getting more of the ball.
Scharenberg has had a great second game back. He copped a whack in the face late in the game, but he was ok. A few more performances like this, building his match fitness, and he might be a chance to come into the AFL, especially if we're going to lose Langdon for longer than thought.
Noteworthy:
Mid season draftee, Kyle Dunkley was very impressive. He has put his hand up for an AFL call up. Other clubs might rue passing on him.

Looked very good; as the commentators pointed out unlike a few others he hasn't yet had a crack at AFL level either.Noteworthy:

VFL today
Went to the game vs Casey today, and I didn't see a lot that screams "pick me for the seniors" unfortunately. We need the seconds firing to make us dangerous at the pointy end of the season. Anyone else watching the VFL and how do you think we're traveling? Long injury list for our top 25 probably hurting us.
