[Yep, I agree with that. JdG should take note. This is a problem throughout the AFL.]
In defense of Carlton, they have so many ex-GWS players on their list, they probably found it hard to determine if they were kicking to a teammate or the opposition; thus the confusion....
A bit like cricket in the 90s, with South Africa playing England... but Carlton is worse then England were & GWS is better than South Africa were ... and in that case it was SA that got spooked.
