Collingwood are struggling to put together any useful passage of connected possession. There is no-one, apart from Reid (maybe), that could be considered for selection on the showing so far.

43 to 10. Collingwood are lucky that Essendon has kicked so badly. This is a rout everywhere except (for the moment) on the scoreboard.

ills works hard at three ball ups in a row and gets a free. The ball ends up about 15 m from our goal.

The problem of course, is that the ball goes back to the centre, where we are being slaughtered, and Francis kicks their 8 with an easy mark in the goalsquare from the clearance.
