Gubby allens kick to greg phillips that cost us the game should be in. Although to be fair Dennis banks took mark of the decade and kicked oof form about 20 metres in front of goal.
Annoying opposition supporters since 1967.

Malcolm Blight becomes disoriented & kicks a point believing those are the goal posts:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JI-t_aIbr6Q [starts 0:30]

This is part of afl.com.au's "Worst misses throughout AFL history", which they padded with many misses that are terrible but still require some low-level skill and don't make one laugh. (Humour is the key ingredient here. That's what gives the Spondon 5ths vid its appeal.) The shot from 35m out directly in front should not have been in this collection. There must have been thousands of such misses. There are also many fumbles and stumbles under at least some pressure.

Two that anyone could have kicked successfully:

Jack Crisp off the ground in the goal square [1:32];

Josh Bruce in the goal square [3:13].

Oddities (I may have to expand the thread title.)

3 football pros versus 100 young children:

(What should the offside rule be when there are 100 players?)

"Virtual reality football"

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LBQt3-ezBQs

'The Norwegian Premier League teams Sandefjord and Mjøndalen played a game of football using video-glasses, receiving live video from a camera above the pitch. This resulted in a hilarious game of football.'

Watch it from 1 hour, 32 minutes and 38 seconds to about 1 hour, 33 minutes and 49 seconds. The replay from the behind-the-goals angle is even funnier.

And then, if you are younger and you've never watched the game, go back and watch all of it.

Trent Alexander-Arnold's 'instinctive' corner catches a 'chaotic, catastrophic' Barcelona napping. Liverpool, 4-0 on the night, 4-3 on aggregate, progress to the Champions League final.

This is a classic catch:

https://twitter.com/HomeOfCricket/statu ... 6937970688

The batsman was nice and still at the crease (unlike an Australian batsman we won't name) but showed zero footwork (just like all the Australian & English batsmen).
