MY THOUGHTS:
Last week went pretty much as I excepted for the VFL 'pies - a good tight tussle against a side who's lined up well against us since 2017. Fortunately we were able to overcome Coburg's pressure and hang on for the win despite Coburg coming hard as the siren sounded. Footscray who had a big win against Sandringham last week (16.12 108 vs 9.11 65) won't be an easy task either.

2017 was a close encounter between the two sides at Victoria Park with the 'pies getting the win (13.7 85 to 12.8 80). While last year at VU Whitten Oval we trialled for most of the day, ultimately overcoming an 11 point three quarter time deficit to notch a nice win (15.5 95 dft 9.9 63).

I’ve been delayed at work and then heavy traffic. Making my way in now, but I’ll miss most of the first half.

Caught the end of that quarter, we’re not getting as much space in the forward 50 as last week and our delivery inside has been terrible. Lacking structure especially down back.

Sier getting a fair bit of it in close

Atu looks to have continued has better footy from last week, not dominating but getting involved

Lynch good to see him move his opponent out of the way

I was excited when I saw our team but 10 goals down at Half Time!

Last year we flogged the Blues in round 1.

This season we barely got across the line against the team that only won 1 game in 2018.

What the hell has happened to our side and supposed depth?

We're playing like our AFLW side. Sh*t!

Wells with the ball inside 50, short passes to the chest of a dog instead of going back to take the shot. Sums up the day.

Daicos in the centre square, beautiful long kick to Woodward who goes long immediately to Reid, jumper held out stretched arms chops, whichever free and goal.

@CollingwoodVFL

Another goal for Reid. He's been a bright spot up forward, following on from his strong performance last week.
