He hasn't got the part-time job at Fremantle yet, but the AFL has given it approval if Fremantle do decide to appoint him.

It's surprising he's returning to the game this soon. I thought he'd walk away from the sport completely after the strain of the supplements saga.

After what he and several others did at Essendon, you'd think it would be impossible for him to find a job in the industry, but here we are.

One big lesson to draw from the JH saga is that every club needs checks and balances, professionalism and proper process. There weren't people at that club big enough and strong enough to stand up to him. As a result the whole club, as well as the broader game, was tainted.

One thing we'll never know, is the 100% truth.

* How guilty was Hird, if at all.
* How far the AFL went to hide or uncover the facts.
* How truly... whats the right word?? gullible?, impressionable?, naive?, ignorant?, the Essendon players were? I don't know...

It's all been twisted, buried and when it gets dug up, we still wont know what to believe as everyone telling their side has their own agenda.

We'll sooner know the mysteries behind JFK, Tupac and Biggie.... :lol:

Anyway, Im off to have lunch with Jimmy Hoffa.
