Caroline Wilson has a column in todays The Age which is critical of the AFL and Richmond for "only" suspending Broad for three weeks.
I've been critical of her in the past for her lack of objectivity and agenda driven writing. However, on this occasion she was spot on. Perhaps the Richmond premiership mellowed her. Perhaps she'll now be fairer, especially towards Collingwood. Let's see!
3 games is a bit light on I reckon and very surprising. The club needs to explain how they think this is a suitable punishment. Also is there any consequences for those that passed it on? The light sentence will now be the story. A lot more to come on this I reckon.
