Expected to go to Port now.
I think they have a pick that the Demons will be happy with.
Was never going to come here.

I'm not sure I would be saying that about the Bulldogs, especially Bevo who is one of our own. He has laid down the law that if the players misbehave expect no mercy rom the club. Whether Stringer comes or goes, the players know where they stand and that makes for a better team spirit with the club going forward.3rd degree wrote:Culprit wrote:The Bulldogs and Dee's have kicked an own goal. Bag a player and then ask the world for him.
Couldn't happen to two bigger village idiots in the League.
Watts on the other hand is a different story. He is very popular with his teammates who don't want to see him go. He gets pushed out for a guy who leaves a club with unfinished business for no other reason than dollar signs. It doesn't mean it won't work for Lever as money is a great motivator, only that he has a bit to prove at his new club.

^^Both clubs have handled it poorly. I don't have a problem with the Bulldogs forcing Stringer out, but publicly discussing some of the reasons for it was not smart. Clubs would have known enough anyway with media reports and their own intel, but but as a seller you don't help in driving the value down then turn around and ask for a premium price. Dumb move.
Well done boys!
