I just watched this match.

What a fighter Alicia Molik is. She was down 1 set and 2-5 in the second but gutsed it out to win 16 of the last 18 points to put Australia 1 up against Hungary.
Donny.

It's a game. Enjoy it. :D

Hewitt overcomes Malisse

Fox Sports

LLEYTON Hewitt has all but guaranteed Australia a spot in Saturday's Hopman Cup tennis final after defeating Belgium's Xavier Malisse 3-6 6-1 6-2 today.

Hewitt struggled against the mercurial Belgian before running away with the match in the last two sets.

The South Australian sent a scare through the Australian camp late in the match when he rolled his ankle and needed treatment before returning to secure victory.

World No.2 Kim Clijsters earlier retired against Australian Alicia Molik with a foot injury and her Australian Open campaign must be in some doubt.

The Belgian led 6-3 6-7 (8-6) 3-2 in the final set when she received attention on her left foot.

She returned to the court and played two more points before opting to retire against world No.36 Molik and hand Australia the opening rubber.

Clijsters has officially withdrawn from the much-hyped mixed doubles match against her Australian fiance Hewitt.

The walkover hands Australia a 6-0 6-0 win and 3-0 tie victory.

Australia was scheduled to play replacement team Canada (Maureen Drake/Frank Dancevic) in an exhibition mixed doubles rubber.
