Not sure exactly how this is going to work out, m8, but I'll toss in Steve Waugh as captain of the Test team for a start.

I'll add Gilly and Ponting to both teams

So we have:

One day team:

Ponting
Akram
Cairns
Gilchrist
McGrath
Tendulkar
Warne

Test team:

Waugh - Captain
Tendulkar
Ponting
McGrath
Pollock
Warne

Is that what you mean ?
Donny.

It's a game. Enjoy it. :D

Hayden and muralitharan would have to be in the test team and see Gilchrist isn't in there yet either.

Test Team
Waugh (c)
Hayden
Tendulkar
Lara
Ponting
Gilchrist
Pollock
Warne
McGrath
Muralitharan

All we need now is another opening batsman, maybe Vaughan?

I would probably have Kallis or Flintoff in the ODI team but it is hard to choose which one

SoS, I did add Gilly to both teams but forgot to type him into my Test team.

Yes, the Test team has just about picked itself so far but with only McGrath and Pollock in there as quicks, and this is from the last 10 years, we must include Wasim Akram.

The only thing is, with 5 bowlers, we'd have to open with Hayden and Ponting or drop a spinner and bring in Mark Taylor or Garry Kirsten to open.

So the Test team looks like this:

Hayden
Ponting
Tendulkar
Lara
Waugh - captain
Gilchrist
Akram
Pollock
Warne
Muralitharan
McGrath

And the one day team:

Ponting
Akram
Cairns
Lara
Gilchrist
McGrath
Tendulkar
Warne

Of course, Michael Bevan (thanks JLC) must come in.

So let's look at what we have.

Gilchrist
Tendulkar
Ponting - captain
Lara
Kallis ?
Bevan
Cairns
Akram
Warne
Murali
McGrath

Both wonderful teams.
Donny.

It's a game. Enjoy it. :D

I just relised we forgot Ambrose I would have him in there before Pollock in the test team. On the issue of Kirsten Vs one of the spinners I guess it would depend on the wicket. If it was a green top leave murali out for Kirsten and if it was a dust bowl leave Kirsten out.
