FA players we could really use:
*Sam Reid
*Dustin Martin
*Nat Fyfe
*Josh Kennedy (WCE) Age the only negative.

FA players we dont desperately need, but would still take:
*Tom Rockliff
*Josh Kennedy (SS)
*Luke Breust
*David Zaharakis

FA Players I'd want only for sentiment reasons:
(So they wont help us move forward and wont happen)
*Liam Picken
*Matt Priddis

How long is Cloke's contract - we could do with a CHF who get 11 kicks, 7 handballs, 7 marks and 3 goals 2 against a Grand Finalist? I don't know why we don't try to draft guys like that when we have the chance.

Key position players. Does Josh Kennedy (wce) want to come back to Victoria?

Worth a play at Sam Reid. He does have age on his side. Longevity and durability are concerning.

And class players inside the arcs.

That is what we need.

We also.need to invest into the Draft. We need some good kids too.

Josh Kennedy is from WA if memory serves.

Schache, Lever and S.Reid all players we'll be taking a look at I imagine.

Kennedy played with East Fremantle before he was drafted by Carlton in 2005.

All those players you've listed Swoop are worth a look.

Too true. Another reason to focus on FA players.

I'd say Kennedy will remain with WCE. Like I said before, age is the only negative.

It'll be interesting to see what happens with Martin and Fyfe, but we should be targeting Reid as the best young KPP available as a FA.

As Jezza said, all good players to look at. But would we have to trade for Schache and Lever?

I think Schache has strong ties to the Lions, so I think he'll be tough to get. We also have a rough relationship with the Lions.

If we can nab Reid as a FA and trade for one of those young backmen, we'd be pretty happy. But I'm also weary about trading good picks.

And Kennedy is a WA born player.

Bit or a rumour that Fyfe has verbally agreed to a deal with St Kilda (1.5M a year).

But Fyfes management has denied these rumours.

DUAL Coleman medallist Josh Kennedy has quietly recommitted to West Coast until the end of 2019.

Kennedy had previously been contracted until the end of 2017 when he was due to become a free agent, but AFL.com.au understands the spearhead re-signed a new two-year deal during last season.

The two-time All Australian preferred not to publicise the contract extension, so the Eagles did not announce it.
