Bolar Blade beef pot roast, mashed Celeriac, steamed broccoli and gravy made out of the pot roast juices.

Yum

Left over rigatoni pasta with a sauce of pork (from pork sausage), tomato (from tinned cherry tomatoes), kale, olives, spices inc chilli, rigatoni & parmesan - made by the youngest on Saturday. No onions or garlic but it was tasty. Could have done with a glass of Chianti though.

Ugh, KFC is poison!

Salmon, squid steak, veggies, a few sweet potato chips, made some cinnamon donut flavoured protein balls, (hubby ate five already!) off to see fifty shades darker with the girls!

Just thought I'd follow up on my gravy in case anyone was interested as it turned out absolutely scmick.

Diced some carrot, celery, onion and parsnip and sauteed those in the bottom of the big enamelled cast iron pot while i was browning the beef roast.

Put the browned beef on top of the veges (1.7kg), deglazed the frying pan with some red wine, poured that over the beef and put in 500ml of beef stock and some more red wine.

Once the beef was cooked, pulled it out, hit the juice with the stick blender to liquefy the veges, reduced that for a while and thickened it with gravy flour.

Absolutely fkn brilliant.

Actually it was alright. Didn't like the first one, don't like anything with so much violence against women, and I wasn't going to go, but it was a girls night out. We were all pleasantly surprised. Anastasia takes her power back, and it becomes more of a, um, well there is not much sex in it, and it's not nasty stuff, there is more human stuff in it, such as other people causing drama, without giving the story away! I quite enjoyed it, but the guy in the lead is just not curate enough to really pull it off! Still, for me, it's not my thing, I prefer action movies, they feel like 1/2 an hour, this felt like the full two!

But the pre movie wine and gossip was nice! (Just making it thread appropriate!)

Is there actually any nudity in this one? I heard that you don't even see the main character's penis in the first film, which is preposterous if true.

hmm, well im not really into checking out penises, i can use my imagination, and no, no dicks in either, unless you count the male lead in the first!~ he somewhat redeems himself in the second movie, and im actually looking forward to the third.

the first movie i did not like at all. the second is not bad at all, the sex scenes are, um, appetising! and it has a story line thats not bad. its better than the majority of porn movies ive seen for a turn on anyway!

although id sooner watch fast and furious 89!
