At lunch, The Bushies are on 2/196 and Hodge looks set for another century.
He's 82 n.o. and Jonathon Moss is 15 n.o. They are 77 behind.
With most of yesterday lost, an outright looks unlikely unless The Vics get a good lead by lunch tomorrow and The Warriors crash.

I still think an outright is possible they will play an extra half hour tonight and extra hour tomorrow so if the vics put their foot down down and get a decent lead I think they can do it

Hodge cruises to another century. Not bad for such a hack, eh Wombat.
The Bushies are 2/228 in the 80th. over. Moss is 29 n.o.

A 76 run partnership was finished when Wilson got the edge of Hodge's bat. Out for an even 100.
Moss went for 52 to Taylor (2/32) 4/255. 18 behind.

Looks like another victorian middle order collaspe with McDonold gone as well. If White or Hussey goes cheaply the innings might be over pretty quickly cos I don't think our tail is up to much.

Taylor (4/70) removed Hussey and Berry in consecutive balls.
White is 28 n.o. as The Vics extend their lead to 45. 8/318

White is certainly doing the right thing. He's 58 from 65 balls.
Berry has declared on 9/355, a nice lead of 82. If they can make inroads in the 30 overs to come today, The Vics will be in a position to win outright, tomorrow.

W.A. are 0/34 in the 17th. over.
The two openers are being very watchful of some good bowling from Inness, Lewis and White.

The Warriors openers have knocked off the deficit and have a lead of 18 runs.
Langer is 53 n.o. and Hussey, 45 n.o.
W.A. are without a point, so far this season, so have nothing to lose by going all out tomorrow for some quick runs in an attempt to set The Bushies a run chase.

WA's bowling attack has got the bite of blue whale - Promises to cut deep but utlimately completely toothless.
Chuffed to have seen 3 flag wins in my lifetime but still greedy for more.

Disappointing morning's play. Both teams are blaming each other, as usual.
At lunch, W.A. are 4/236. Campbell did come in at first drop which was promising but he didn't particularly go for it, scoring 19 from 25.
Hussey (57) and Langer (96) had an opening partnership of 123. The Warriors added 136 in 39 overs so it's safety first.
The Vics would have to crash through after lunch to have a chance of an outright. The W.A. lead is 154.

Crash through, they did. From 3/236 to all out for 265.
The Bushies captured 7 wickets for 29 runs !!
Lewis took 5/58 and Inness, 3/23.
Victoria needs 184 to win from 58 overs. A touch over 3 r.p.o.
