AFL.com.are are reporting that Chris Fagan is about to be the new man in charge of the Lions. Fagan has enjoyed a coaching career prior to joining the Hawks. He coached the Tassie Mariners, North Hobart, and the new defunct Sandy Bay Seagulls in the Tasmanian Football League.
Chris' brother Grant had tasted much success in his coaching career, Chris himself has been overseeing the success at the Hawks in a non-coaching role.
The announcement is expected to be tomorrow.
It's an interesting appointment there, but he does have experience and has been around a lot of the success at the Hawks. Perhaps the Lions are hoping the Hawk influence will pay off?
Two years before the spud farm breaks him with a player exodus.
Remember to request a pay-out clause in your contract; it's like a lever on a one-armed bandit poker machine. Chaaaaa-chiiiiiiiiiinnnnnng!!!
