* An all Perth Grand Final. (It came so close last year. And it should have happened. If it did, I would have suspected that the WCE would have taken home the glory). Could be decades away from happening now.

* An all Adelaide GF. The showdown always seems to be a good game. They have played off in a final once already, but to see them fight it out in the GF would be epic.

* A team from Tasmania. Would like to see a team come in down there and be successful. I'd just hate for them to come in and fail. I feel like this is just not going to happen though.

* Jobe Watson to return the Brownlow Medal and earn some respect, playing out his final years with some kind of dignity.

* The Suns to win and the Lions to lose. I want footy to become healthy in QLD. But I do enjoy seeing the Lions suffer for so long now after their success in the early 00s. So I'd like it if the Suns became somewhat of a successful team and maintain a huge dominance over their older brother.

Something not high on the list: An all QLD GF. And an all NSW GF. The later could very well happen this year, which is weird to think about. Not that it'd bother me, as Im not keen to see the Dogs or Cats win it, it's just that I would have preferred to see the WA or SA teams go at it in the big dance.

Just keep in mind that some of these could be things that you'd want to see only when the Pies are out of the finals. Obviously we want the Pies to succeed as often as they can, I just find this a somewhat challenging task.

I was thinking, I'd like to see:

1) Fair and unbiased umpiring

2) Clear and concise rules. No grey areas open to interpretation

3) The MRP/tribunal apply consistent penalties

4) Removal of the LED ads, at least during game play. Kiss cam can go too.

5) Releasing of the balloons on Grand Final day

1. TAC Cup & VFL/Reserves Grand Final on the same day. I put /Reserves if the AFL ever brought back a stand alone reserves competition which I don't suspect they will. But I would like to see all three Grand Finals on Grand Final day, I do miss my Grand Final day.

2. Removal of Matchday experiences. Surely the game of football is exciting enough without the need for a "Kiss cam", and other AFL approved match day "experiences" I mean outside of the stadium go nuts. Have a jumping castle, a face painting booth, and anything else you'd like. But inside the stadium it should be football not this other crap.

3. Remove LED Ads. They're annoying, and not needed, just use normal signage ffs. I hate them in other sports, and I hate them in the AFL. They're not needed, they're just a waste of energy.

4. No more unneeded changes to the game. Every year there is a new rule, or a new interpretation of a rule, or some other mindless change. It's getting stupid and annoying. There is no need to make anymore changes to the game, or anything else it was fine before all them changes, it will be fine without the changes going forward. Also the changes keep leaving the umpires confused and they're getting abused because they cannot make heads nor tails of the stupidity either.

5. Tasmanian AFL side. With the problems in Tasmanian football, maybe a Tasmanian AFL side will kick start people going to the game again and have players wanting to stay in Tasmania to play for the Tasmanian AFL side and not go off to the VFL, WAFL, SANFL, or any other league interstate to get noticed more.

1. Never see Carlton win another premiership in my lifetime.

2. Hawthorn to go on a long premiership drought that lasts at least 50 years! It's the least they deserve.

3. Undo the sanitisation that has been seen in the terraces.

4. No longer have special themed rounds.

5. Get rid of the so-called "match day experience" that has diminished the atmosphere of the crowd rather than enhance it.

Where to start ?? :)

1) Umpires are, already.

2) Impossible.

3) Agree.

4) Pass. No idea what they are.

5) Terrible idea, environmentally. "All released balloons, including those falsely marketed as "biodegradable latex," return to Earth as ugly litter. They kill countless animals and cause dangerous power outages." - http://balloonsblow.org/
Donny.

It's a game. Enjoy it. :D

1. All in brawl in a Grand Final
2. Someone reach 100 goals in a season in the Grand Final with the last kick of the game to win the match (followed by a pitch invasion)
3. Carlton win 4 Wooden Spoons in a row (named the "Mediocre Machine")
4. Carlton merge with Gold Coast (Gold Coast Blues)
5. A woman so talented that she plays in an AFL team

1. Removal of Free agency. When 22 year olds can "nominate" a club they want to go to, why do we need Free Agency?

2. Every team pick a home ground and play your home games there. None of this choice of 3 bullshit like Geelong who get to enjoy the only genuine home ground advantage in Vic, and then move their games to Etihad or the G when they sniff more money

3. 22 teams, 21 rounds in a season (or 24 and 23)

4. Until then a wildcard round between round 22 and finals where 7 plays 10 and 8 plays 9 for the final 2 spots in the finals

5. Mark Robinson removed from all media

1. For the AFL to introduce the Franchise Tag to balance the power after the introduction of Free Agency.

2. As someone else has already mentioned, for Jobe to voluntarily return his Brownlow to regain some of the respect lost of this whole affair.

3. For Essendon to become relevant again, the competion will be the better for it.

4. For WA tv to broadcast more Collingwood games.

5. The AFL to revamp the Brownlow voting system, the umpires already have enough on their plate without that extra burden. Give it to an independant panel.

1. 16 on the ground, not 18 (as a trial) to restore fluency to the game.

2. No free kick paid where the ball-carrier contributed to it (by ducking the head or floppng forward.

3. An end to free kicks for over the shoulder where the contact was brushing/incidental.

4. Free kicks for holding in a marking contest rigorously enforced.

5. An end to Unequal treatment favouring expansion clubs and COLA preference for Sydney.

1. Umpires being accountable for their decisions to the public. On the day. At the time. Failure to supply a satisfactory result is dismissal from the arena.
2. Gil McLachlan and mike Fitzpatrick to admit that sucking up to likes of Andre Agassi etc is just a ruse to get them first class seats to the superbowl.
3. Robert Walls to be arrested for work place bullying.
4. The next fox commentator to publically praise his colleague for "nailing it" to be forced to either tongue kiss the colleague publically for 20 minutes or resign.
5. Caro run over Slobbo and then be found DUI. Slobbo found in hospital with
commercial quantities of illicit drugs in his pocket when admitted with texta on packets saying "jimmy", "danky" and "Matty S" on them.
Annoying opposition supporters since 1967.

In no particular order:

1. Stop over officiating the game and let it flow

2. Stop the inequality in the draft and concessions. Every club to get equal distribution of cash from the AFL with any extra to any club subject to a year by year grant process.

3. A team in Tassie and the ACT. Historically strong AFL areas no neglected.

4. Higher distribution of GF tickets to club members, less to corporates and AFL members (unless they have a club support package for a participating club)

5. Hawthorn to spend the next 50 years in the bottom half of the ladder.
