I reckon today should be a blunt reality check for anyone who thinks the likes of Witts and Gault are budding champion talls, or even AFL standard.

Take what we can get for Witts. Fire Gault out of a cannon into the centre of the sun.

Oh look, speak of the Devil and He shall appear, there's Gault now, gets a junk goal in red time...

Witts is [AFL standard] (and will play AFL somewhere). The gap between his best and worse is big though. He such a physical advantage it is disappointing he hasn't learnt to take full advantage of it by now. I think back to that game where Bucks grabbed him by the collar ... I reckon he is missing that bit of mongrel that good ruckmen have.

Magpiebat thanks for your commentary though out the year for us interstaters who can't get to games having the play relayed and questions answered has been fantastic.really appreciated.
As for today maybe a bridge to far if Krakoer Magic had turned up and offered his expert advice the result would have obviously been different
