Nah, no fan encounter, I used to live right by the Western Oval.
Born & bred in Footscray & I've hated them forever & a day...
Used to ride my bike as a kid & watch the matches when they opened the gates at 3qt time, barracked for anyone who was playing against them.

If you lay on your back & lift your legs slightly upwards you cannot sink in quicksand.
