Best for mine. Wills, Williams, Howe, Collopy, Ferguson, Crocker

Mentions to: Phillips, Witts, Pendlebury, Macaffer, Gault
Thanks Cam.

Great to see Wills go back and rip it up in the VFL. If he can build up his tank over the pre-season we could have a beauty on our hands with this bloke.

for mine, slightly different order to cam's.

pendles, collopy, ferg, wills, howe.

the pleasing thing for me was the win was built on the back of the vfl guys effort.

Missed the game as I was working. Anyone know if a video will be put up by the club or even audio?

No worries, Cam. Glad to have had you aboard. The board probably rates your football insight better than mine anyway... :)

Agree with JW, our VFL only boys really stood up and played their guts out. They were in everything and often were just as classy and precise as theyr AFL counterparts. The game was really watchable, with our handballing game ala the firsts [and ala Geelong 07-11] showing out. Willy's kicking however really let them down and it would have been a lot tighter had they converted just a bit better. The final score was not really an indication of how even this game was in the clinches. But our guys punished them with good ball movement, strong attack on the man and footy, and efficiency inside 50.

Golds did the occasional nice thing, Goodyear didn't do much and whilst Witts held his own at the centre bounces I thought his forward and back work left a bit to be desired.
Get back on top.
