Nah, it's just a flat charge. You can sit anywhere you like after that.

Best advice is to get there early. Gate opens at 12pm, but there's only one gate opening for this match and there will be about 10,000 or so expected, although if they follow standard behavior, most of those will descend en masse at 1:30pm.

Best seats will probably be the Legends Stand, if for no other reason than they were the ones that almost sent the Filth broke...
the heroes stand will be empty.

gate 5 just so happens to be on the other side of the park, furthesr away from royal parade. i think this is a deliberate ploy by that rancid mob to not make anything easy for us.

Gate 5 is the main gate to the legends stand, so no shock they'd shove us all through that entrance, obviously trying to keep us away from the players races and the benches on the other side. That does show how highly they think of us as well.

The team is out!

Sier and Wyatt still MIA, which is probably best from a team balance and competitive perspective

No Michael Still (again, surprise surprise) and no Adrian Indovino.

Kelly named, which is excellent news. Hopefully he passes his final fitness test Saturday morning.

Toovey back into the side, after missing last week. No Marsh, though...

Don't think we can win without him, personally. Willy have too many avenues to goal to cover without our best defender, on top of Goldsack missing as well...

Yeah that half back line looks very short. Lot of reliance on Frost, Pendles and Tooves in the backline. Of course if we win enough ball in the middle our forward line will become a problem for them.

Tapping finds a way, I reckon he will have been planning for Willy for a few weeks as we were likely going to play them at some point in the finals.

True. But how much of that plan would have factored in the presence of Marsh? You just can't replace what he brings to the table against such a multi-pronged attack, especially with their ultra-potent midfield feeding them.

Of course, if Willy lose one or two of their key goal kickers down the back of the couch somewhere, well, that would be a different story...

I get why Marsh isn't playing though.

He's has such a bad run with injury that to get through the end of the AFL season unscathed was a relief.

Do we really want to tempt fate and watch him break down in a VFL final yet again?

We have the double chance, yes?

Looks like I have demolition work to finish this weekend, need to confirm, so if I can't make it this weekend do we get another game, win or lose?

Disappointing Marsh hasn't made the team but Oxley can go back as another defensive option if needed.

Same setup as in the AFL, stui. Top 4 get the double-chance.

We will play at least 2 games this September, so yes, don't sweat it if you can't make this week...

on the limited vision i saw of last week's game, stilly looked short of a gallop and didn't quite get to the pace of the game. really looking forward to seeing him more next year.
