See, I've never got this logic. Winning form is good form.Cam wrote:Good loss to have before the finals rather than have a massive winning streak.
That being said, a reality check could do them some good.
Moloney will be sweating the MRP/Tribunal results this week...

Caff was good. Kicked 2 excellent goals too.
Witts was pretty good in the ruck, but I still worry about his footy instincts around the ground.
The biggest bloke on the ground tries to win the footy bruise-free, or waits for others to win the footy. It's really frustrating.
One of the better games I've seen Gault play. Not enough to retain next year though for mine.
Got to some good spots and his run and jump at the footy was impressive, but can't make them stick 9 times out of 10.
Similar story with Cox, as in, got to some good spots and got first hands on the ball numerous times, but just couldn't make them stick.
One has more to work with with Cox though, due to his physical attributes and obviously outstanding ability to learn and improve.
There was hardly a marking contest he wasn't infringed upon either. (Opinion not shared by men in green.)
Was really impressed with #66 for Footscray. Being #66 it's a fair chance he isn't on their AFL list.
Possibly worth a look???? (I'm only going on today, if anyone else knows any more about him that be great.)
This kid absolutely buggered up a simple handball with a teammate running into an open goal early in the second, similar to our seniors against Richmond. But this seemed to really spur him on to make up for it, I thought he was close to best on ground from that point on, from half forward. Showed determination, willingness to run, ran to smart spots, has good skills.

Dave, having barracked for our beloved Pies for over fifty years, I can assure you its better to drop one now, than in the big Finals, now we can stop being so cocky, and get our heads down and bums up again. Have faith.Dave The Man wrote:I say that Loss have to have is Total BSPiesnchess wrote:The loss we had too have, they will get their senior guys back next week, all is well in the world then.
