Seems pretty clear that it was racially motivated.
Disgusting act. Indefensible.
She is going to be offered the opportunity to take part in one of Port's Aboriginal cultural awareness programs. Hopefully she takes up the opportunity and learns something from it.

Just as well she didn't chuck one at Goodes in his prime; the entire round 23 would have to be cancelled whilst we go into mourning...5150 wrote:Nah, let them draw the long bow and make it a race issue. Stupid Bitch should be banned for life anyhow.
Imagine if it was a Collingwood supporter... Oh, the papers would have enough material for the rest of the month.

In no way do i condone racist rants or things being thrown onto the playing filed, especially towards a player.
Apparently that woman has been a nightmare at all Port home games and some supporters around her have been complaining all year.
But when a player acts towards the opposition crowd, you have to expect some backlash.
Again, the woman deserves to be banned, but when players are looking into the crowd trying to rile them up, things like this are going to happen.

I'm sure the players are instructed by the AFL NOT to incite the crowds ?Presti35 wrote:In no way do i condone racist rants or things being thrown onto the playing filed, especially towards a player.

Apparently this regulation doesn't apply to Betts and Goodes.
