Again, these conditions existed two years ago and everything seemed fine then. There was no gate charged, no temporary fencing, AFL Victoria got paid some compensation, the ground hosted a final in front of the biggest crowd I've seen at Vic Park for a VFL game and everything went off without a hitch (except for the result!)

Exactly. Bullshit excuses.

I went to that VFL final two years ago. Wasn't an issue.

Was a fantastic day, well apart from the result. Hopefully the club is working out how it can go ahead at Vic Park. The VFL getting their $$$ seems the biggest issue, if the club pay that then there's no need for fencing.
