Wow! What a finish! Great call Magpie Bat! Very very much appreciated! What a season these kids are having, and the young ones are getting experience at winning, forming the habit. They seem to like making it difficult for themselves in either the 3rd or 4th!
22 scoring shots to 18! We shoulda lost!
Clokey again, is that 9 or 10 in a fortnight?

Riddle for anyone there, from the commentary we played Witts in the ruck and Cox, Cloke and Gault up forward. 3 talls plus Witts and apparently we weren't as slow as treacle up forward?

If we weren't, how did it work?

If we were, how did we win?
box hill were their own worst enemy. they certainly had their opportunities to close the gap and win in that last quarter. i didn't think any of our talls set the world on fire. some good honest contests from them, particularly their second and third efforts.

Look alive, everyone! Someone's just cut us a MASSIVE break!

With the Cats running down the Scorpions (thanks Cheesy!), we now sit pretty a game clear on top with one round to play and will finish a VFL round on top of the ladder for the first time ever!

Sandringham just lost to Richmond.

What does that mean? It means that their chances at top 4 (and thereby playing us week 1) just took a mortal (perhaps even fatal) blow.

Pies vs Cats QF at Vic Park very much on the cards again...

And it should be noted, Richmond are now in with a sniff of snatching 8th spot next week...

Yep, it's fatal. Port Melb plays Geelong next week. Port have 4 points on them and Geel 20 odd %, either side winning will keep Sandringham out.

Race for fourth is between Port Melb, Footscray and Geelong. If we defeat Footscray it's Port v Geelong head to head to determine 4th. Otherwise should the unthinkable happen and we lose, Port win/Footscray win comes down to percent (only 1.5% separating them) and Geel win/Footscray win is a no contest as the 'dogs have 4 points in hand.
