In fact, it looks like this game could decide the 8 - just looking at the percentages, if Melbourne lose they will be two games behind North with a game to go and St Kilda are so far behind North on percentage that it is inconceivable that they could make it - even if North lost by 100 points and St Kilda won by 100 points, the 'Aints wouldn't make up the difference (North has 101 more "points for" and 179 fewer "points against" than St Kilda).
