Ponting goes to 93 from 91.

2/315. 3 overs to come.

Ponting goes to 99. 4 from the last ball. 2/324.

50 up for Martyn with a four. Takes a single.

Ponting on strike. Tucks it round the corner. Century !! 99 balls.

Ponting gets a short one, charges, closes his eyes and tonks it over square leg for his 7th. six. Amazing shot.

2/344 with 3 balls to come. Single. Single. Single.

2/347. The last 10 overs went for 102 runs.

Ponting's innings was quite incredible. 108 n.o. from 103 balls. 7 sixes and 1 four.

It was a slightly smaller version of his amazing WC Final innings.

Martyn's 60 n.o. from 49 balls almost went unnoticed but contained many silky boundaries.

Together, they put on 149 from 98 balls.

After 5 overs, India are 0/31.

It's reasonable to assume they be 100ish at the 15 over point if they don't lose wickets but what happens after that will be the telling factor.
