Looking at the highlights I was impressed that Cox kicked a check-side goal, thats quite a good skill level for someone so new to the game
I think therefore I think - I think

Williamstown got the job done over Sandy today, so we close out Round 17 in 3rd place (equal 2nd), with the 'Gulls a game clear at the top but with a bye in the last round and a couple of possibly tricky encounters remaining in their run home.

So, if we can keep winning and a result or two go our way, don't count us out for the minor premiership either...

The ladder in question:

Not the best way to celebrate your birthday, doing a calf. Even if it was in a win...

Dolly Gray really stiff not to make the bests with 39 disposals, 6 marks, 2 goals and 4 tackles. Probably the last number is what turned the bests givers off...

In terms of AFL boys, Phillips with 33 disposals and 5 tackles, Macaffer 29 disposals and a whopping 16 tackles, Toovey 21 disposals and 4 tackles and Cox with just 8 disposals and 3 marks (and a zero tackle count). Will doubtless get called up for Moore, though.

Hopefully Rocca remedies Gray's omission from the bests on the show Tuesday...

Congratulations, Tapps! :)

Little known fact, apparently he played Under-19s for us back in 1983, under Keith Burns...
