Katich is in a rare patch of form. He's moved on to 94 n.o. and should get his century before stumps.

Pilon is 39 n.o. and their partnership is 108. They are still 140 odd behind.

Katick moves to his century and Pilon is 69.

They've extricated The Blues from potential big trouble with a partnership of 144. At 5/271, they're now only 105 behind W.A.'s total whereas earlier in the day, they were facing a follow on situation.

I love Katich when he plays for Australia but you can jam him up your a$$ when he plays for his state. Us west aussies haven't forgotten big fella. I hope you score century after century for Australia but get double donuts against WA.

The only chant you'll hear from me is when he's got the baggy green on. Until then he's just another traitor - yes there's many of them on both sides of the equation so no need to list them...still doesn't stop them from being a traitor.
My oxygen is Collingwood. Without it I die.

What was his motivation to move to NSW though? Closer to selectors?
I don't see you guys packing up Gilly in brown paper and sending him back to Lismore!

You don't see me bagging Jamie Siddons for going to SA, or Brad Williams for going to WA, or even Denis Hickey back 10 years ago do you? Why hold a grudge?
Oh wait on.... bloody traitor bastards. Yes. Yes, you're right, that does feel better.

LoL I'm not going to enter into this arguement! Katich is in great form at the moment indeed. I wish Slater would be a traitor and move to Melbourne! :P I hope N.S.W can win this one. :)

The Blues have taken first innings points, thanks to Katich (& Pilon).

Nicho went for a handy 42. His partnership with Katich was 84.

The Kat (177 n.o.) is heading for the double ton and, so far, Clark (12 n.o.) is hanging in. They are 8/431.

He and Casson added 44 runs for the second wicket before Nicholson claimed Casson for 21. 2/182

They lead by 122.
