Personally, I absolutely love these games. I really get sucked into all the hype and find the actual game very interesting and enjoyable to watch. I definetly dont think its a flawed concept.

I really enjoy watching those games I remember when I went in 2001 and there was this fight and all the players came off the benches it was pretty funny!!! After the game me and my friend went to go meet up with my mum, dad, Aunty and Cousin and all of these Irish people were singing coz they won and my mum was singing away with them and she didnt even know what she was saying (we still pay her out about that)!!!!
"You know life moves pretty fast, if you don't stop and take a look around once in a while you could miss it!!"
While I didn't actually watch the games, because I was out the last two Friday's, I enjoy the concept, and when I do get a chance to watch them, I enjoy doing so.
As good as the games and series are...the Novelty will wear off one day and it will be just a memory of what used to go on at the end of the season as you waited for your team to get back onto the field.
Tradition? Pfft you call merging with Fitzroy and cheatin to 3 flags Tradition? Winning 4 flags in a row is history, which makes tradition!
