Ran out of legs in the last 10 minutes due to lack of rotations and injuries.

Despite the loss, I think we've turned the corner in our season. We'll win more often than not if we keep producing these performances of the last three weeks.

Review the game on Monday and focus on beating Port next weekend.

I'm proud of the boys. Can't help but feel upbeat despite the loss.

Three key players down, no rotations, in this day of footy, is too much to win Up until we lost tooves and adams we were right in it up to our eywballs. Then fas went off too, and that was that, welfare had NO injuries, damn naturally. Proud of the boys anyway, fought it out, just outnumbered due to lack of fit players in the end. Welfare dogs don't impress me as a possible top four side anyway. !

This is so true. If not for the 4 players on the bench the game was ours.

Were better for three quarters. EASILY. Lack of finishing in the second cost us, lack of composure inside 50 in the fourth killed us. Injuries! Injuries is why I no longer care like I used to. Injuries crushes all hope and enjoyment.

I said in the game day thread, you learn more from a loss, sometimes, than from a win.

Crocker is a player
Maynard tries hard, but he probably doesn't have it. He needs to give way to Sinclair or Williams next week
Cox will probably be a star, but he still has a lot to learn. Trav might get his chance next week.
Sidebottom may win the Brownlow this year under disqualification. He has become one of the 2-3 most important players in the league.

Effort there but Excution of Skills was Terrible.

Injuries destroyed any chance we had in last Qtr.

some bad luck.
but keep telling me Blair is a decent player.
And I will keep throwing up examples like today.
Thought we should have played Cloke today.
I thought our structures held up relatively well.

We have plenty of excuses. I doubt that Bucks will be saying that to the players though. There were a couple of bad mistakes at the end that cost us. We were brave but the Dogs found a way to win. Clokey will come back if Darcy Moore comes up or not.

cant fault effort on this one, just one player fit off the bench and we would have nailed it, Wayne Carey of full of crap

^ Oh, and the other thing we learned is that we are good enough to beat the best, given even luck. Proud and happy with the effort.

Regardless of injuries and lack of rotations we lost by missing easily gettable goals when the few opportunities to do so presented.

The long and glorious march to September continues.
