Does he have 50 games left in him? Would his leadership benefit the club and the younger players? Would his addition to the playing list boost us into a top 4 contender? Would this open a path into coaching for him?

I don't think it would be worth trading young players like Oxley, etc. But do later picks get things going?

If GAJ was to return to Victoria to play out the rest of his career, it would be with Geelong.

True, and when his time comes to move from the midfield to a permanent forward, he will be a royal pain in the arse to match-up.
