Is he worth pursuing?

Post by Presti35 »

Daniel McKenzie. 20 years old and not getting into the St Kilda team. Played 7 games last year. It seems like he is having a quiet VFL season so far.

Has he had any injury set backs?

He is a 184cm tall that plays off half back and is a former team mate of De Goey and Moore at the Oakleigh Chargers.

Another former Charger teammate, Toby McLean, seems to have found a place in the Bulldogs 22. He is winning possessions and kicking goals too. Geez, he'd be a nice fit for the Pies at the moment.

Getting back to McKenzie, what do you guys know/think of him?

He's been called up for his first game for the year.

I don't know anything about him, Presti - but I do watch your posts on such matters with interest. I guess that if he is worth pursuing, De Goey and Moore would be letting the Club know.

Cheers P4S.

He had a quiet game with 12 disposals and a behind late in the game. He also made 4 tackles.

Seeing he was pick 22 in 2014, its possible the Saints wont be willing to trade him already, after two years of development. We'll see how he travels for the rest of the year.
